Didactics
With reference to the Degree Courses, the Department's overall training offer includes three Courses of Study:
A three-year degree course with programmed access in Biological Sciences (class L-13) with locally defined student numbers
An open-access three-year degree course in Environmental Science and Policy (class L- 32), the first year of which will begin in the 2024/25 academic year.
An open-access Master's Degree Course in Teaching Methodologies and Innovation for Biogeosciences and Chemistry (Class LM-60)
The Department's educational offerings are complemented by the following postgraduate educational opportunities:

PhD Programme in Environmental and Health Sciences
Two Health Specialisation Schools with access reserved for doctors: Hygiene and Preventive Medicine;
A 2nd Level Master's Degree in Forensic Geo-Archeo-Anthropological Sciences
Since the Department belongs to the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Prevention, the management/coordination of various cross-disciplinary activities is dealt with within the Faculty Council, together with administrative support provided by the Teaching Department of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Prevention.
